Prajnaparamita Empowerment

Friday-Monday April 10-13 2009

White TaraPrajnaparamita is the embodiment of the Wisdom Truth Body of all the
Buddhas, the Great Wisdom Mother who gives birth to all enlightened
beings. By relying upon her and engaging in her practice we can develop the inner strength to overcome
all outer and inner hindrances to attaining pure happiness, as well as all
obstacles that hinder our progress to liberation and enlightenment.

This is a powerful method for developing great compassion and for opening the wisdom eye that sees the ultimate nature or emptiness of all phenomena.

The Teachers

Gen RabtenGen Kelsang Rabten, the National Spiritual Director of Kadampa Buddhism in Australia, will grant the empowerment of Prajnaparamita on the morning of Saturday 11 April. Over the course of the Celebration he will also provide advice on how we can rely on Prajnaparamita in our daily lives.

During the Celebration, meditations will be led by Kelsang Nampur, the Resident Teacher of Dharmapala Centre, Perth and Kelsang Dornying, the Resident Teacher of Mahasiddha Centre, Sydney.
