Buddhist Meditation Retreats

Retreat is a special time when we withdraw from our ordinary day-to-day affairs and concentrate on meditation practice.

KMCA offers formal Buddhist meditation retreats to help us improve how we meditate and discover the inner joy of regular meditation sessions.

For any unguided retreat it is necessary to have done a guided retreat or received instruction on this practice previously. Please contact us for more details about each retreat. Learn more about meditation in general.


Refuge retreat

Monday-Saturday June 29 - July 4

One of the Preliminary Guides, these retreats prepare our mind to gain the deepest realizations of the spiritual path.

For any unguided retreat it is necessary to have done a guided retreat or received instruction on this practice previously. You can receive instructions about this practice on the A Life Less Ordinary weekend course.

Vajrayogini Retreat

January Saturday 2 - Sunday 31

A wonderful opportunity to deepen the Tantric practice of Vajrayogini. This retreat begins with a weekend course taught by Gen Rabten. Then we will begin a 4-week retreat on the practice. Practice self-generation or do a counting retreat in the peaceful setting of Mount Dandenong in the Southern hemisphere summer.

Details will be provided shortly for information and booking forms. This is a wonderful chance to gain a profound experience of this blissful meditation practice.
