Kadampa Buddhism
There are many different ways of practicing Buddha's teachings. As Kadampa Buddhists, we practice the Lamrim, bringing our understanding of Buddha's wisdom into our daily life, trying to act mindfully, with compassion, all the time.
In this way we transform our minds by using the everyday events of ordinary life. It is this method that can take us to enlightenment in one lifetime.
To achieve this we practice formal meditation, study Buddhist books and do our best to cherish all living beings.
In this section are answers to questions like "What is Meditation?", "What is Buddhism?" and why is meditation so worthwhile?
There is also information on the New Kadampa Tradition, our founder Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, and some information on study programmes and the temples projects, as well as how you can find Buddhist books and CDs.
