KMCA Opening Times & Details
KMCA Australia is open to the public throughout the year except for a few weeks of special retreats and for festivals. Opening times are 10am-5pm. You are welcome to join us for a healthy vegetarian lunch, please let us know 24 hours in advance so we can cater for numbers. (Lunch is $5).
Gardens & Grounds
The grounds are open to the public all year round except for a few weeks of special retreats and festivals. Please ring 03 9756 7203 or email to check. Admmission to the grounds is free of charge.
Main Centre
The main Centre buildings are open to visitors from 2.00pm to 5.00pm Monday - Friday all year round except for short periods of closed retreats and festivals. Again, please call 03 9756 7203 or email to check.
The Bookshop
The bookshop, which sells Buddhist books, CDs, art images as well as various other spiritual items and gifts, is open every weekday from 2 - 5pm all year round. Just ask at reception.
Accommodation and Courses
If you are intending to stay at KMC Australia or attend a course it is essential that you book in advance. KMCA will not be able to provide accommodation at short notice without prior arrangements and may not be able to provide food for those who attend courses without booking.
In addition, please note the following:
- If you are staying in a dormitory please bring a sleeping bag and a towel.
- All meals are vegetarian including eggs and dairy products. We regret that we cannot cater for special diets.
- Families are welcome but parents must take responsibility for children at all times, as we do not have specific facilities for children.
- We regret that pets cannot be accommodated.
- Everyone is required to refrain from smoking or drinking alcohol anywhere on KMCA Australia property.
- KMCA Australia cannot accept the responsibility for the mental and physical health of people attending courses or staying as guests.
