Visiting times and details
KMCA Australia is open to the public throughout the year. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the grounds, find out about what goes on at the Centre and share a cup of tea with the residents.
Opening Times
The grounds are open to the public all year round, and the main Centre buildings are open to visitors from 2pm to 5pm Monday - Friday all year round, with the exception of certain festivals and retreats. Please contact us before visiting. Admission is free of charge.
The Bookshop
The bookshop, which sells Buddhist books, CDs, art images as well as various other spiritual items and gifts, is open every weekday from 2 - 5pm all year round. Please ask at reception.
Accommodation and Courses
If you are intending to stay at KMC Australia or attend a course it is essential that you book in advance. KMCA will not be able to provide accommodation at short notice without prior arrangements and may not be able to provide food for those who attend courses without booking.
In addition, please note the following:
- If you are staying in a dormitory please bring a sleeping bag and a towel.
- All meals are vegetarian including eggs and dairy products. We regret that we cannot cater for special diets.
- Families are welcome but parents must take responsibility for children at all times, as we do not have specific facilities for children.
- We regret that pets cannot be accommodated.
- Everyone is required to refrain from smoking or drinking alcohol anywhere on KMCA Australia property.
- KMCA Australia cannot accept the responsibility for the mental and physical health of people attending courses or staying as guests.
